City Kids Wilderness Project's Base Camp Benefit 2017

City Kids’ Base Camp Benefit is a gathering of our community in a beautiful outdoor setting for a relaxed afternoon of nature, food, & friends. The Benefit will be held at Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion on April 23rd, from 2-5pm with brief remarks at 2:45pm. Woodend is located at: 8940 Jones Mill Road, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. Join us for hikes on the property, food & drinks, an outdoor-themed auction, outdoor activities, a scavenger hunt for kids, and a brief speaking program featuring a participant, an alum of the program, and Florence Williams, author of The Nature Fix.

There are currently no tickets available for this event, but you can still make a donation.

Join us for a food & drinks, an outdoor-themed auction, hikes, a scavenger hunt for kids, a brief spoken program, and other outdoor activities all in a beautiful indoor & outdoor setting.

Parking is available on site, and dress will be casual.

Note on Spring Weather: Spring in DC can be tricky for planning outdoor events, and Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion is a wonderful venue rain or shine! If it does end up raining, the event will take place inside the Woodend Mansion and on a tented patio. We look forward to seeing you!
